The sequel includes 12 main levels. Your job is to reach the end of each course as quickly as possible while keeping the car on the track. Stars earned from strong performances can unlock additional cars and a bonus level.
There are no traditional racing opponents to worry about. The course is the opponent.
Smooth Steering Beats Wild Speed
You can use the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D to drive. Up accelerates, down reverses, and the left and right controls steer the car.
The Space bar activates the handbrake. R immediately restarts the level, and C changes the camera view. M can mute the sound.
These controls look simple on paper. The difficult part is using them gently enough.
Turning too sharply near an open edge can ruin the run. Accelerating too hard before a bend can leave little time to recover. A slower approach often works better until you know the course.
