The Crew Heads Into a New Part of the World

Rogue Buddies 3 sends the four mercenaries into another hostile adventure, this time with new ruins, mountains of gold, unfamiliar enemies, and a mysterious threat waiting for the team.

Maximus, Smoke, Duster, and Alpha Tech all return. Maximus remains the assault and grenade expert. Smoke handles heavy guns and rockets. Duster uses quick ninja movement and a katana. Alpha Tech brings hacking knowledge and drone technology.

The journey moves into Asia and focuses on exploring lost ruins while the team searches for huge amounts of treasure. The familiar mix of platform movement and shooting remains, but the third game gives the group new problems to solve along the way.

Use the Whole Team

Rogue Buddies 3 keeps character switching as an important part of play. Each mercenary brings a useful skill, and certain parts of a level work better with one character than another.

The controls let you move and jump, shoot, use a special weapon, interact with objects, and change characters.

Combat can become busy when several enemies appear at once. Heavy weapons can clear dangerous areas, while careful movement helps you avoid taking unnecessary damage.

The game also keeps puzzle solving in the middle of the action. You may finish a fight and then need to work out how to reach another section of the ruins.

New Skills, Vehicles, and Costumes

Rogue Buddies 3 adds more ways to develop the team. New skills can be learned, new vehicles appear during the adventure, and the characters can wear different costumes.

These extras keep the game from feeling like the exact same mission repeated again.

The third entry also puts more attention on the team working together against a new enemy. Their different skills become useful as the environments and puzzles change.

Rogue Buddies 3 keeps the loud style of the earlier games with guns, explosions, treasure, and exaggerated action. At the same time, its new setting gives the series a fresh backdrop. Searching ancient-looking ruins, collecting gold, changing characters, solving small puzzles, learning new abilities, and trying different vehicles all help make the adventure feel larger than a basic run-and-shoot game.
