Three Animals Trapped in One Body
Shape Shifter is a puzzle platform game about an elephant, a mouse, and a rabbit who run into serious trouble after a wizard places a strange spell on them. Instead of remaining three separate animals, they become one creature that can change between all three forms. Escaping each level depends on learning when to use each animal.
That unusual situation becomes the main puzzle. The path may look impossible for one animal but become easy after changing into another.
Change Form to Match the Problem
You move and jump with the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. The number keys let you switch between the three animal forms.
Each form has a useful strength. The elephant can smash through large obstacles that block the path. The mouse can squeeze into tiny spaces that the larger animals cannot enter. The rabbit gives you useful movement for platform sections and difficult jumps.
Changing forms at the correct moment matters more than simply moving toward the exit. A narrow tunnel may require the mouse. A heavy barrier can call for the elephant. A high platform may make another form more useful.
Collect Stars on the Way
Each stage also contains stars to collect. Reaching the exit clears the level, but searching for the stars gives you another reason to explore every part of the area.
Not every star sits directly along the easiest route. You may need to change forms, take another path, or make a careful jump to reach one.
There are also monsters and other hazards to watch for. This keeps the stages from becoming simple walking puzzles. You need to think about the correct animal while also staying out of danger.
Solve Each Level as a Team
Shape Shifter works because all three animals share the same adventure. You are not choosing one character at the beginning and ignoring the others. Their different abilities are tools for solving the level.
The colorful cartoon style keeps the game light and easy to follow. Every new obstacle encourages you to think about which form can handle it best.
