The Three Friends Go Looking for the Wizard
Shape Shifter 2 continues the story of the elephant, mouse, and rabbit who share one magical body. They have learned to live with their unusual condition, but they still want to find the wizard responsible for changing them. Their search sends them through another collection of puzzle-filled platform levels.
The basic idea remains familiar. You can transform between the three animals whenever a different ability becomes useful. The sequel builds its challenges around knowing which creature should handle each part of the route.
One Body With Three Very Different Skills
Movement uses the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. Keys 1, 2, and 3 switch between the available forms.
The rabbit is excellent at jumping. It can leap much higher and farther than the other forms, making it useful when platforms sit out of reach. The mouse is small enough for tight areas and can handle paths that the elephant cannot enter. It can also climb in situations designed around its lighter body.
The elephant provides strength. It can destroy barricades and deal with obstacles that stop the smaller animals. Some sections also use its ability to protect itself from dangerous projectiles or handle hazards that the others cannot safely cross.
Think About the Next Obstacle
Shape Shifter 2 rewards planning ahead. Changing into the correct animal for the current obstacle is useful, but it also helps to think about what comes immediately afterward.
A large jump may need the rabbit, yet the landing area could contain something that requires the elephant. A narrow opening may make the mouse the obvious choice, but you still need to consider how to leave the area.
Stars appear throughout the levels as extra collectibles. Reaching all of them can require a more careful route than simply heading straight for the exit.
A Puzzle Game About Using Strengths Wisely
Shape Shifter 2 does not add complicated controls just to make the sequel harder. Instead, it creates new situations for the same three abilities.
The fun comes from seeing an obstacle and understanding which animal has the right answer. Sometimes that answer is strength. Sometimes it is size. Other times you simply need a much better jump.
Shape Shifter 2 keeps the friendly animal theme while adding fresh puzzles to the journey. Switching at the right time, collecting stars, handling hazards, and helping the three friends continue their search for the wizard form the heart of the adventure.
