Police Pursuit 2 is a 3D driving game that puts you behind the wheel of a police car. Instead of racing around a closed track, you drive through a large city filled with roads, intersections, traffic, ramps, and different mission points. Your main job is to find criminals and stop their vehicles before they escape.
The police station acts as an important starting point. You can explore the streets and look at the small map on the screen to see nearby targets. Criminal vehicles appear as targets that you can chase through the city. Some missions start when you drive into a marked area.
How the Police Chases Work
Catching a suspect takes more than simply reaching the car. You need to stay close and hit the criminal vehicle until it can no longer continue. Each successful hit causes damage. Your own police car can also take damage from crashes, traffic, and other objects. This makes careful driving important during long pursuits.
Police Pursuit 2 gives you a nitro boost for extra speed. Nitro helps when a suspect gets too far ahead or when you have a clear stretch of road. Pickups around the city can refill the boost. Repair pickups restore the police car after it takes too much damage.
Drifting also helps with tight turns. Criminals often change direction at intersections, so good cornering can keep the chase going.
Missions and Things to Find
Police Pursuit 2 includes main challenges such as Runaway Car and later pursuits against tougher criminals. Finishing these challenges opens more missions and vehicles. Some captured vehicles also become available as rewards.
The city also contains smaller activities. You may chase other suspects or deliver items before time runs out. Players who enjoy exploring can search for a hidden Secret Police Car. There are also hidden packages and large jumps to discover around the map.
Police Pursuit 2 mixes free driving with clear goals. You can explore the streets for a while or head straight toward the next police challenge. The combination of car damage, nitro, repairs, missions, hidden items, and vehicle rewards gives you plenty to work on beyond a single chase.
