Become the Monster Beneath the Ground
Death Worm is an action game where you control a huge creature that travels beneath the ground and bursts through the surface to attack almost anything it can reach. Instead of playing as a soldier trying to stop a monster, you control the monster itself. People, animals, vehicles, helicopters, tanks, and other targets become part of the destruction.
The worm moves underground most of the time. You steer it left and right while controlling its speed. Pointing the creature upward sends it toward the surface. A good approach can launch the worm high into the air and place it directly in the path of several targets.
Movement matters because many targets do not stay in one place. Birds fly overhead. Vehicles travel across the ground. Soldiers and military equipment appear as the danger grows.
Eat, Smash, and Build Combos
Destroying one target adds to your score, but hitting several things during the same attack can produce better results. A strong jump may let the worm grab a person, strike a vehicle, and reach something flying above the battlefield before diving underground again.
The game contains 15 levels and around 30 enemy types. New threats appear as you make progress. The military sends stronger units after the worm, and later battles even include alien enemies.
Death Worm also gives the creature extra abilities. The worm can spit fireballs at targets that are difficult to reach directly. A Nitro power-up gives you another useful option when you need a sudden burst of movement.
Grow Into a More Dangerous Creature
The game includes upgrades that improve the worm as you continue. This gives you a reason to do more than simply rush through every stage. Better abilities help when stronger enemies begin filling the screen.
Your health also matters. Tanks, soldiers, helicopters, and other enemies fight back. Staying above ground for too long can expose the creature to heavy attacks. Diving underground gives you a chance to change direction and prepare another strike.
Death Worm keeps its controls simple while giving the player plenty to attack. The fun comes from planning a good underground approach and then exploding through the surface at the right angle.
Each level becomes a mix of movement, destruction, survival, and scoring. The worm grows more powerful while the enemies become harder to defeat. That steady increase in danger keeps the action moving from the first stage to the later battles.
