Fight Through Waves of Strange Enemies
Psycho Squad is a fast action shooter where your squad faces repeated waves of unusual enemies.
You move around the battlefield while aiming and firing with the mouse. Staying in one place for too long can let enemies surround you, so movement plays a major part in surviving each mission.
The controls let you run in one direction while aiming somewhere else. WASD handles movement, while the mouse controls your aim and shooting.
That setup becomes useful once attacks start coming from several parts of the screen.
Keep Moving While You Attack
Psycho Squad does not encourage you to stand still and hold the fire button.
Enemies close in, including flying zombie-like creatures. You need to create space, change direction, and choose targets while watching what approaches from around the battlefield.
Moving constantly gives you more room to react.
Running straight toward every enemy can put you in the middle of a group. Moving around them can give you better shooting angles and make their attacks easier to avoid.
The action becomes a mix of aiming and positioning rather than shooting alone.
Collect Coins From Defeated Enemies
Taking enemies down also helps you prepare for later fights.
They can leave coins or money behind. Picking up these rewards gives you resources for improvements after a successful mission.
This adds a second goal during combat. You need to clear the attackers, but collecting dropped rewards also matters.
Running after every coin without checking the area can put the squad in danger. Sometimes clearing nearby enemies first gives you a safer chance to collect what they leave behind.
Strengthen the Squad Between Missions
Money can be spent on upgrades.
Improving members of the squad helps prepare them for tougher battles. As the missions continue, upgrades become more important because stronger enemies demand better damage and better control of the battlefield.
This creates a clear gameplay loop. Enter a mission. Fight the attacking waves. Collect money. Finish the battle. Buy useful improvements. Then take the stronger squad into the next fight.
Psycho Squad keeps the controls easy while making the screen increasingly busy. You need to move, aim, collect rewards, and decide how to spend your money after a mission.
Players who enjoy arcade shooting with upgrades have plenty to manage here without dealing with complicated controls.
