Survive One Wave After Another
Zombie Madness is a top-down action shooter where you fight large groups of zombies using guns, special abilities, sprinting, and close-range attacks.
You can move freely around the combat area while aiming with the mouse. The zombies approach in growing numbers, so survival depends on keeping enough space between your character and the horde.
WASD controls movement. The mouse aims and fires. The E key activates your equipped ability. Shift lets you sprint, while the Space bar performs a melee attack.
The controls can also be changed from the options menu.
Build Your Own Combat Setup
Zombie Madness gives you far more than one basic weapon.
The game includes a large selection of guns and lets you carry two weapons into combat. Different equipment offers different strengths, so your choice affects how you deal with each wave.
You can also equip an ability and choose up to three perks.
Abilities include special actions that can help during difficult moments. Perks provide ongoing benefits. Character upgrades can improve areas such as damage, armor, movement speed, reload speed, and luck.
This gives you several ways to prepare instead of relying only on faster shooting.
Earn Rewards Through Career Mode
The main career mode contains a long series of zombie waves.
Completing combat earns money that can go toward new weapons and other equipment. Later waves also provide upgrade points that improve your character. Some stages add special challenges and may ask you to handle the fight in a different way.
The game includes difficulty choices too, including harder settings for players who want more pressure.
Test Your Setup in Survival Mode
Zombie Madness also includes a survival mode.
Here, the goal changes from moving through normal career progress to staying alive against an endless attack. You can take equipment earned through the main game into survival and see how long your build lasts.
This mode makes your earlier choices matter. Weapons, perks, abilities, and upgrades all affect how well you handle a long fight.
Zombie Madness has a simple starting idea, but it gives you plenty to manage once the action begins. You need to watch ammunition, keep moving, choose weapons, use special abilities at useful moments, and avoid letting the zombies close every escape route.
The mix of career progression, equipment choices, character upgrades, special powers, difficulty settings, and endless survival gives Zombie Madness much more depth than a basic point-and-shoot zombie game.
