Vex 8 – Master New Traps and Complete Nine Challenging Acts
Vex 8 continues the stickman adventure with new obstacles, difficult jumping sections, and several ways to test your skills. You must guide a small stick figure across dangerous platforms while avoiding spikes, moving saws, and unusual traps.
The game features nine main acts, hidden trophies, and an Infinite Mode that challenges you to travel as far as possible.
Some obstacles will look familiar to players of earlier Vex games. Others introduce new rules that require a different approach.
Travel Through Nine Dangerous Acts
Your journey takes place across nine main levels called acts.
Each act contains a series of platforms and obstacles that you need to overcome.
You must run, jump, climb, and slide through the environment while searching for the green exit portal.
Some passages are narrow and require careful movement.
Other sections contain moving objects that can stop your character immediately.
Checkpoint flags appear throughout the levels. Reaching one allows you to continue from that position after an unsuccessful attempt.
Watch the Red and Green Lights
One of the special features in Vex 8 is the red-green light trap.
These obstacles work differently from ordinary spikes and saw blades.
You need to pay attention to the changing signals and control your movement at the correct moment.
Moving when the trap shows the wrong signal can cause your stickman to lose.
Wait for a safe opportunity before crossing.
Other new challenges include pole-climbing sections and dangerous moving objects.
The different traps require you to change your approach as you travel through each act.
Learn the Movement Controls
Use the Left and Right Arrow keys or A and D to run.
Press the Up Arrow or W to jump and climb.
Use the Down Arrow or S to crouch and slide.
You can also jump between nearby walls to reach higher platforms.
Some areas require you to hold onto a ledge before climbing onto it.
Practice these movements during the earlier acts because the later challenges require better control.
Find Secret Areas and Hidden Trophies
Vex 8 contains secret locations that reward careful exploration.
Some trophies appear away from the main path.
You may need to climb a difficult wall or follow another passage to reach them.
Each act also offers extra objectives that provide another challenge beyond reaching the exit.
Completing these missions helps unlock harder versions of the levels.

Test Your Skills in Infinite Mode
Infinite Mode gives you a different challenge from the main acts.
Instead of completing a fixed level, you try to travel as far as possible without losing.
