Enjoy Playing Vex 6

I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit dodging spinning saw blades in Vex 6, and somehow it never gets old. You guide a little stick figure through a series of increasingly tricky obstacle courses, leaping over spikes, sliding under barriers, and timing your jumps just right to land on narrow platforms. The game’s simple control scheme—just two buttons for jumping and sliding—means you’re free to focus on the level designs, which get delightfully devious as you progress.

One thing I really appreciate about Vex 6 is how it balances challenge with progress. Each level throws new traps at you, but you also unlock checkpoints that save your progress, so you’re not back at square one every time. There are moving platforms, disappearing floors, and even rotating gears that feel like they’re out to get you. Yet once you nail a tricky section, the sense of accomplishment is pretty addicting.

The visuals have that clean, minimalist stick-figure charm—the backgrounds might be simple, but the character animations and the variety of obstacles keep things fresh. I also love that you can customize your little stickman with different outfits you earn as you conquer levels. It’s a small touch, but slipping on a ninja mask or a pirate hat somehow makes those death-defying jumps feel a bit more heroic.

If you’re looking for a pick-up-and-play challenge, Vex 6 is exactly that. It’s one of those games where twenty minutes can easily turn into an hour as you chase that next victory. And even when you rage-quit after falling into a pit for the tenth time, something about the game keeps pulling you back for just one more try.
