Enjoy Playing Tom and Jerry Rescue
I’ve been playing Tom and Jerry Rescue lately, and it’s surprisingly addictive. You start off in the familiar cartoon world, where Jerry’s always up to some mischief and Tom’s hot on his tail. The twist in this game is that you actually get to hop between both characters—Jerry fits into tight spaces and nibbles through obstacles, while Tom can leap higher and push heavier objects. It gives you that classic cat-and-mouse chase vibe, but with a puzzle twist that keeps you on your toes.
Controls are straightforward: swipe left or right to move, tap to jump, and double-tap for the special move. The puzzles gradually ramp up in difficulty, so you’re never stuck for too long but still feel a nice sense of accomplishment when you finally clear a room. There are power-ups sprinkled throughout, like cartoon anvils that Tom can drop or cheese boosts that send Jerry skating across the floor. And if you really want to goof off, there’s a two-player co-op mode where one person takes the mouse role and the other chases as the cat.
Visually, it nails that hand-drawn, Saturday-morning feel. Bright colors, wacky animations, and those exaggerated reactions whenever someone bonks their head—it all feels authentic. The soundtrack even sprinkles in a few jazzy chase tunes that would make William Hanna and Joseph Barbera proud. Between collecting hidden bonuses, revisiting old levels in challenge mode, and unlocking new outfits (Tom in a chef hat is my personal favorite), there’s plenty to keep you coming back for more.
