Get to Know About Still Alive

I first stumbled across Still Alive when a friend sent me a clip of someone battling through a horde of zombies while trying to secure the last supply drop on the map. What really hooked me was how it blends the tense, last-man-standing rush we all know from battle royales with a healthy dose of PvE thrills. You’re not just out there watching your back for other players—you’ve got the undead constantly nudging at your heels, and you’ve got to think on your feet to juggle both threats.

The match starts off pretty familiar: you parachute in, scavenge weapons and gear, and keep an eye on the shrinking safe zone. But then you notice that every so often the ground trembles and a gigantic zombie boss stomps into view. And that’s when Still Alive really flips the script. One minute you’re quietly looting an abandoned church, the next you’re scrambling to rally teammates, set up turrets and pop off skill shots so you’re not the one getting squashed.

Between all the shootouts and undead ambushes, you also get to pick from a roster of heroes, each with their own quirks and abilities—whether it’s laying down protective barriers for your squad or throwing out a healing field when things get messy. Leveling them up, tweaking their skill trees, even customizing your hideout bunker with loot from successful runs all adds a sweet progression loop that keeps you invested beyond a single match.

At the end of the day, what makes Still Alive stickier than your average battle royale is its pace and variety. You can absolutely go for that solo “battle survivor” vibe, but teaming up with friends to tackle those big PvE events—like escort missions or boss sieges—feels just as rewarding. If you’re looking for a fresh spin on a genre that can sometimes feel stale, give this one a shot. You might find yourself wiping the sleep from your eyes for just one more round.
