Have fun playing Soul shift
Okay, Soul Shift is a bit of a mind-bender, but in a really cool way. The basic idea is you’ve got to get rid of all the red shapes on your screen. How? By swapping “souls” – basically, you click a green shape, then a red one, and poof, they switch places. But here’s where it gets interesting: physics are totally in play. So when they swap, things might tumble or fall, and that’s how you get the red shapes to disappear, usually by making them fall off the screen or into some kind of hazard. The trick is to do all that while keeping your green shapes safe and sound.
Every level you hit in Soul Shift is its own unique puzzle that’ll have you mapping out moves in your head. The swapping thing is dead simple to learn, but man, as you get further in, the puzzles get surprisingly deep and complex. You’ll be staring at the screen, planning three or four moves ahead. The look of the game is super clean, no clutter, which is great because it lets you just focus on figuring out the puzzle without a bunch of distracting stuff going on.
If you’re someone who loves a good logic puzzle, the kind that makes you feel like a genius when you solve it, Soul Shift is probably right up your alley. It’s easy to get started, but the difficulty climbs in a way that always feels fair but keeps you challenged. What’s really neat is how it sort of nudges you to just try stuff out. There’s often more than one way to solve a puzzle, and it’s always a good feeling when you stumble upon some weird, creative solution.
