Play Online Rats Invasion 2
So I’ve been diving into Rats Invasion 2 lately, and it’s this surprisingly addictive little shooter that throws you into a city overrun by mutant rats. You pick from four distinct characters—each with quirks like a demolition expert or a speedy scout—and you and a couple of friends (or random teammates online) work together to clear sector after sector of these oversized rodents. It feels a bit like an arcade game fused with tower-defense elements, since you’re not only blasting rats but also setting up traps and barricades in cramped alleys.
What really hooked me is how each rat type behaves. The basic swarmers swarm in huge numbers, armored ones shrug off your regular bullets, and then you’ve got spitting rats that force you to constantly juke around. Every few levels a boss rat shows up, like this massive mutant with glowing eyes that stomps through your defenses until you coordinate a multi-stage takedown. You end up learning to lean on your teammates—one player lobs grenades, another patches up wounds, while a third lays down turrets to keep the hordes at bay.
Progression feels satisfying, too. You earn scrap after each wave and can upgrade everything from your pistol’s rate of fire to the health of your deployable barricades. There’s a small skill tree for each character that lets you specialize—maybe you’ll boost trap durability or add poison rounds to your shotgun. Even the art style is charmingly gritty, like an urban comic book, and the rat designs somehow manage to be both gross and hilarious.
All in all, Rats Invasion 2 strikes a nice balance between chaotic action and strategic planning. It’s not trying to be a serious war sim—it’s more like a fast-paced co-op romp where you’re always just one misstep away from being overrun by a tide of pincered nightmares. If you’re looking for something you can jump into with friends for quick, frantic sessions and a few good laughs at how absurdly huge those rats got, this one’s worth a try.
