Take Your Club Into the Championship
Puppet Soccer Champions is a one-on-one football game where famous players appear as funny cartoon puppets with oversized heads. This version moves the action toward European club football. You can choose from 32 clubs and try to guide your chosen team through the competition.
Each match puts one player from your side against one opponent. That means your footballer has to handle every job. You attack the other goal, chase loose balls, block shots, and protect your own net.
The small field keeps the action moving. A ball can travel from one side to the other in only a few seconds, so losing control near the opponent’s goal can quickly create danger at your own end.
Run, Jump, and Shoot
The controls stay simple. The arrow keys move your puppet around the field. The Up arrow makes the player jump, while the Space bar kicks the ball.
Jumping helps with balls that travel above your player’s feet. You can use the puppet’s large head to block the ball or push it toward the other goal.
Shooting also takes some timing. Kicking from the wrong position may send the ball straight into your opponent. Waiting for a better angle can create a much stronger chance.
The unusual ball movement adds plenty of unpredictable moments. Shots can bounce back into play, and a blocked attempt may suddenly become a scoring chance for the other player.
Earn Money and Improve Your Squad
Winning matches gives you money that you can use as you continue through the competition. Puppet Soccer Champions lets you buy and sell players, giving you a chance to change your squad and search for stronger footballers.
Players can also receive upgrades. Improving your footballer helps with later matches as opponents become harder to beat. The game includes more than 90 cartoon versions of well-known football stars, so there are plenty of characters to discover and use.
This progression gives each victory a purpose beyond the final score. A successful run can help you unlock better options for the matches ahead.
Power-Ups Can Change a Match
Puppet Soccer Champions also includes unusual bonus balls and effects. Some can spread slime, ice, or gum across the pitch. These effects can interfere with movement and create unexpected situations during a match.
A player who looks in control can suddenly lose the ball after one strange bounce or bonus effect. This keeps matches from feeling exactly the same every time.
Two-player support also lets two people compete against each other instead of always facing the computer.
