Club Football With Big-Headed Players
Puppet Soccer 2015 continues the one-on-one football style with a new collection of clubs and players. You choose a team, buy a footballer, and enter a championship where each victory moves you closer to the medal positions.
The players have oversized heads and cartoon bodies, but the characters take inspiration from famous football stars. Team and player names use playful changes rather than always copying the real names exactly.
Puppet Soccer 2015 contains dozens of footballers to unlock. One detailed version of the game lists 68 available players.
Win Matches and Earn Coins
You start with limited choices. Playing matches gives you a chance to earn money, which becomes important for building a stronger collection.
Coins let you purchase better footballers. Stronger characters can make later championship matches easier. You can also improve player abilities such as speed and jumping.
This gives every match a second purpose. Winning is important for the tournament, but the money also helps you prepare for future opponents.
Keep the Ball Away From Your Goal
The basic controls remain easy to understand. The arrow keys control movement and jumping. The Space bar kicks the football.
The small pitch means the ball can travel from one goal to the other in seconds. You cannot stay in attack all the time. A missed kick may leave your own net open.
Jumping becomes useful when the ball rises above your character. A good header can block a shot or send the ball back toward the other side.
Position matters too. Standing too close to the opponent may make it hard to react to a high bounce. Staying too far back gives the other player room to attack.
Challenge Another Player
Puppet Soccer 2015 also includes a two-player mode. Two people can compete on the same computer in direct one-on-one matches.
That mode removes the predictable habits of computer opponents. A friend may rush forward, stay near the goal, or keep jumping to block the ball.
Puppet Soccer 2015 keeps its football matches short and focused. There are no eleven-player formations to control. You handle one footballer and take care of everything yourself. Score goals, defend your net, collect coins, unlock new players, improve their abilities, and keep moving through the championship.
