Enjoy Playing Must Escape the Pet Shop

Imagine finding yourself locked inside a brightly colored pet shop, clicking your way through each nook and cranny to uncover hidden items and clues. You’ll examine everything from dusty shelves to squeaky toys, piecing together odd bits of information and combining objects to open locked drawers or decode secret messages. The whole point of the game is giving your observation skills a workout and relying on logic to figure out what to do next.

There isn’t a sprawling backstory to get lost in—just you after hours, alone among rows of cages and tanks. Any hints about why you’re there or what the shop once looked like are tucked into notes, posters on the wall, or the way certain props are placed. It’s a stripped-down setup that keeps your focus squarely on the puzzles.

Visually, the game pops with hand-drawn, cartoonish 2D art that never takes itself too seriously. You’ll carry a small inventory of found objects and learn to use them cleverly against various obstacles. If you ever hit a wall, an optional hint system is there to nudge you forward. With multiple rooms to explore and no ticking clock, you can wander at your own pace, testing theories and retracing steps until everything clicks.

Behind it all is Dagestan Technology, the studio behind other entries in the Must Escape series. The game first rolled out on iOS and Android, and while its roots are in mobile, you might find it on other platforms down the line.
