Build Your Own Blocky 3D World

Miocraft is a Flash building and exploration game inspired by block-based sandbox games.

You enter a 3D world made from cube-shaped blocks and can walk around, remove parts of the landscape, collect materials, and create your own structures.

There is no need to follow a strict racing course or defeat waves of enemies. Much of the game is about deciding what you want to build and changing the world around you.

Explore Before You Start Building

The world can be viewed from a first-person perspective.

You use the keyboard to walk and the mouse to look around.

This gives you freedom to inspect the terrain and choose a useful place for your construction. You may prefer a flat area for a simple building or use the existing landscape as part of a more unusual design.

The Spacebar handles jumping.

Remove Blocks and Place New Ones

Building in Miocraft depends on switching between two main actions.

You can remove blocks that are already part of the world, or place new ones where you want them.

The R key changes the active tool between building and removing. Number keys can select different block types.

The mouse then handles the actual action.

This simple setup makes it possible to dig into the ground, clear an area, build walls, create towers, or experiment with other block structures.

Create Instead of Following One Goal

Miocraft gives you more freedom than a normal level-based game.

There is no single correct building that everyone must create.

One player may make a small house. Another may build a tall tower. You can also reshape hills, make platforms, dig openings, or simply explore the blocky landscape before deciding what to do next.

That open structure is a major part of the game.

Learn the Controls and Start Experimenting

Most of the challenge comes from becoming comfortable with movement and block placement.

Once you understand how to switch tools, remove blocks, and place new ones, the game becomes a small digital construction area.

Miocraft keeps the basic sandbox idea simple. Walk through a 3D block world, look for useful places to build, remove the blocks you do not need, and create something new from the space that remains.

There is no need to rush. The main goal is to experiment with the environment and see what you can create.
