Info About House of Wolves
House of Wolves feels like that perfect pick-me-up expansion that shakes up the routine. You’re dropped into the Reef, where a faction of Fallen called the Wolves has staged a brazen rebellion, and it’s up to you and your fireteam to chase down their leader, Skolas. The story missions give you a nice blend of sneaking through Fallen strongholds and epic shoot-outs, and they never feel like filler. There’s enough lore woven through the dialogue and collectibles to make you care about the Awoken and their political drama, too—so you’re not just blasting baddies for the sake of grinding XP.
On the gameplay side, the Prison of Elders is a highlight. It’s like a challenge gauntlet where waves of increasingly tough enemies test your builds, loadouts, and coordination. Every round throws a new mix of Fallen, Hive or Vex at you, and the modifiers keep you on your toes—one match you might be without grenades, the next you’re racing the clock. Plus, the loot you get feels meaningful; new weapons and armor that actually shake up your playstyle rather than blend into the background.
And then there’s the Trials of Osiris, which brought the first real high-stakes PvP mode to the game. You team up in threes for a weekend-only, elimination-style tournament, and each win edges you closer to some of the most coveted gear in the entire universe. It’s tense, it’s competitive, and it absolutely rewards communication and strategy. All in all, House of Wolves manages to strike a sweet balance—solid story content for solo runs, cooperative challenges that demand teamwork, and a PvP mode that keeps the sparks flying long after you’ve put down the controller for the night.
