Your main goal is still to finish ahead of the competition. Rivals can make that difficult by attacking your vehicle and forcing you away from the best racing line.

Grab Weapons From the Track

Weapons appear as pickups during races.

Driving over the correct icons lets you collect equipment that you can use against the other racers. Available pickups include weapons such as missiles. These attacks can help you slow down or remove an opponent who stands between you and first place.

You need to choose the right moment to fire. Using a weapon as soon as you collect it may waste a useful chance. Saving it for a rival who blocks your path can give you a better result.

The game uses E or Space to fire the equipped weapon. Movement works with either the arrow keys or the WASD keys.

Earn Money and Improve Your Racer

Winning races gives you more than a better finishing position.

You can earn money as you progress and use it to unlock improvements. This gives the championship a sense of progress beyond a single race. Better equipment can help as the competition becomes harder.

The game also lets you choose your driver before entering the race. The different prisoner characters fit the rough setting and help give Death Racers 2 its own style.

Watch the Road and the Other Cars

Combat racing creates two problems at once.
