Learn About the Game Air Defence 3

I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve gone back to Air Defence 3 when I need a quick, no-frills strategy fix. You start off with nothing but a handful of basic anti-air cannons, then watch as helicopters, jets and paratroopers swoop in from every direction, determined to breach your perimeter. Each enemy type has its own quirks—you’ll quickly learn to pair your rapid-fire turrets with slower, heavier missile launchers if you want to keep up with the escalating threats.

As you dispatch wave after wave, you earn cash to upgrade your existing defenses or unlock new ones. Sometimes it’s tempting to pour everything into one colossal cannon, but the real trick is balancing damage output with firing speed and range. There’s also a nice feature where you can sell off old towers for a fraction of their cost, letting you swap out early investments for late-game powerhouses when the going gets tough.

What keeps me coming back is that sweet spot between predictability and surprise. You can almost draw out the enemy paths in your head on that runway map, but the variety of levels—complete with tighter chokepoints or wider open spaces—demands you rethink your setup every time. It’s simple, it’s focused, and it never wastes your time with side quests or storylines. If you ever need to clear your head with some pure, unadulterated tower defense, this one’s a solid bet.
