Info About Adventure Time Saw Game
You might hear it called “Adventure Time Saw Game,” but the real title is Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. Developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Little Orbit, it hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, and PC back in November 2014. If you loved the show’s quirky humor, you’ll be right at home with its vibrant, cartoon-like feel.
This top-down action-adventure borrows from classic Zelda games, sending you into puzzle-filled dungeons and fast-paced combat. You swap between Finn the Human and Jake the Dog to make the most of their powers—Jake stretches to reach distant switches while Finn slashes through foes with swords. Along the way you’ll use bombs, stretchy punches, and even health-restoring sandwiches, explore four unique dungeons, and gather Heart Containers to up your health or Gold Stars to unlock new tricks.
In terms of story, Finn and Jake join forces with Princess Bubblegum to explore a mysterious, uncharted kingdom. They come across four captured princesses—Lumpy Space Princess, Wildberry Princess, Slime Princess, and Hot Dog Princess—and each dungeon you clear sets them free. The adventure stands on its own but still captures that lighthearted Adventure Time vibe.
On the side you’ll find cooperative-style puzzles thanks to the character-switching mechanic, plus NPCs who dole out optional side quests for extra items or upgrades. The art style nails the show’s hand-drawn look and you’ll hear the actual voices of Jeremy Shada as Finn and John DiMaggio as Jake. While there’s no dedicated PS4, Xbox One, or Switch release, you can still play it on newer consoles through backward compatibility where it’s supported.
