Playing Hokuto No Ken 1 Online
“Hokuto no Ken” for the Family Computer, often shortened to Famicom, is a side-scrolling action video game released exclusively in Japan on August 10, 1986. Published by Toei Animation and developed by Shouei Systems, it was the first of four Hokuto no Ken video games launched for the Famicom. While its gameplay shares similarities with Sega’s Mark III version of Hokuto no Ken, it’s a distinct game created by a different developer.
The very first game in the Hokuto no Ken series, simply titled “Hokuto no Ken,” was launched for the Family Computer, commonly known as Famicom, on August 10, 1986. This side-scrolling action game was exclusively released in Japan by Toei Animation and developed by Shouei Systems. Despite bearing some resemblance to Sega’s earlier Mark III version of Hokuto no Ken in terms of gameplay, it remains a unique creation made by a separate developer.
