Defend the Position from Zombie Waves

Pothead Zombies 2 is a defence shooting game where you and a computer-controlled partner fight an approaching zombie army. The characters stand at a protected position and fire at enemies coming from the right side of the screen. The zombies must be stopped before they reach and destroy the base.

The mouse aims the weapon, and the left mouse button fires. Number keys one through five switch between available guns. The R key reloads, while P pauses the game. These controls let you change weapons without taking your attention away from the approaching enemies.

Share the Work with Your Partner

The partner fires without direct control and becomes better with weapons through continued use. Giving the partner a useful gun can strengthen the defence. However, ammunition remains limited. Using the same ammunition type for both characters may cause the supply to disappear too quickly.

Different weapons suit different situations. A pistol can help with weaker targets. Shotguns work well at shorter distances. Rifles help with enemies farther away. Grenade launchers and heavier guns can deal with crowded waves, but wasting their ammunition on one weak zombie can create trouble later. The game includes several weapon groups and rewards tied to improving the partner’s skill with them.

Collect Ammunition from Fallen Enemies

Extra ammunition can appear on defeated zombies. Players need to notice these supplies before the next large group arrives. Reloading at a quiet moment also prevents the weapon from becoming empty during an attack.

Some enemies arrive in vehicles, and the game includes larger boss battles. These threats require more firepower than an ordinary zombie. Watching the whole screen helps you choose whether to attack a nearby creature or stop a dangerous vehicle first.

Spend Money on Better Equipment

Defeated enemies provide money that can be used for weapons and upgrades. Buying a stronger gun helps with later waves, though ammunition and reload speed still matter. A good weapon cannot protect the base when it stays empty.

Pothead Zombies 2 combines aiming with weapon management. Fast shooting helps, but careful ammunition use often matters more. Players need to support their partner, change guns for the current threat, and prepare before the next zombie wave reaches the defence line.
