Launch Squirrels with a Woolly Mammoth
Nutty Mania is a physics puzzle game where a woolly mammoth helps hungry squirrels collect nuts. The mammoth uses its trunk like a launcher. You aim the trunk with the mouse and click to send a squirrel flying through the level. The squirrel needs to touch every nut before the stage can end.
The game contains 42 puzzles. Each stage changes the nut positions and adds different objects to the route. Portals, bouncing surfaces, wooden pieces, and large creatures can affect the squirrel’s flight. Nutty Mania also includes a level editor for creating new puzzles.
Find the Best Launching Angle
Move the mouse to adjust the mammoth’s trunk. The direction controls the squirrel’s route. The amount of force also changes how far the squirrel travels. A low shot can reach nuts near the ground. A stronger launch may carry the squirrel over a wall or through a portal.
Study the full level before clicking. Look for surfaces that can create a useful bounce. A nut hidden behind an obstacle may need an indirect route.
Players have several squirrels available. Using fewer launches leads to a better result. Finishing with efficient shots can earn up to three stars for the level.
Use the Environment as Part of the Solution
The squirrel does not stop after touching one nut. A good launch can collect several during the same flight. Walls and platforms can redirect the character toward another part of the stage.
Later puzzles need more planning. The first squirrel may move an object or reveal a route. Another launch can then collect the remaining nuts.
Nutty Mania mixes accurate aiming with step-by-step thinking. The mouse controls remain easy, but the changing obstacles make the 42 levels feel different. Players can experiment without learning many buttons. A missed launch shows how the squirrel reacts, which helps with the next attempt. The strongest solutions collect every nut while using the smallest number of squirrels.
