Red Storm 2

You can fire at your enemies tank with the left click and move your tank with the WASD or the arrow keys in the Red Storm 2 game.

Okay, imagine piloting giant robots on another tough planet out there. You’re looking down at things from a bird’s-eye view and blasting enemy machines as they come at you in big groups that you need to push back time and again. To move your robot around this hostile ground, just mash the W, A, S, D keys like controlling one of those super cool walking toys you had when you were little, while maybe clicking a button or two with your mouse aims its heavy weapon at the right spot. After each big fight ends near the center of the map, you can go home (or to base) and fix it up fixing-wise if parts broke off during battle fighting back against tougher wave attacks.

Red Storm 2 asks you directly: shoot these enemy bots coming towards your little command vehicle, then head home to the factory – called a hangar in this game’s world – to make changes. You can pick new robot buddies to play with once they unlock themselves after doing some early missions well; each one has its own strengths and fighting skills because their numbers are different or they use special abilities like maybe covering fire for you between waves until others take over the defense station target spot.

Remember when this game first appeared back in mid-2010 twenty something years ago? People really loved it then, even though it’s been ages. They still grab it now because shooting stuff makes them feel good and they enjoy making their robot friend better again after each tough battle by picking the right upgrades to get tougher themselves through waves of enemies coming constantly for survival testing action. It got a solid rating around three point five up there with its close friends when you look at online talking heads, suggesting it’s a proper good, maybe a little basic straightforward fun thing, but that still means everyone agrees you’re definitely doing something right out here in space if they want.
